Stellar World Briefing

Editorial policy

Stellar World Briefing aims to make astronomy and space exploration understandable without making them sound simpler or more certain than they are. We value clear sourcing, fair distinctions and corrections made plainly.

Accuracy and sources

Writers should check factual claims against relevant, identifiable sources and make clear when a statement is an interpretation, an estimate or an established description. We do not present speculation as settled fact. Where a topic is changing or a claim needs qualification, the wording should say so rather than hide uncertainty.

Independence and partner material

Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material accepted for the publication will be clearly labelled where readers encounter it. A partnership does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or editorial approval.

Corrections

Readers can send a correction through the Contact page. We review reported errors and, when a change is warranted, correct the article and make the correction clear in context. We distinguish factual corrections from updates that add useful detail or clarify wording.

Illustrations and AI

Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When an image is illustrative rather than documentary, it should not be presented as a photograph or a record of a real event. Image captions and labels should help readers understand what they are looking at.

Our outlook

The sky rewards a second look

A familiar patch of night can hold more than one story: a changing phase, an old observing habit, or a question that reaches beyond Earth.
